In our research for NAPA, we found that 95% of Americans who buy motor oil throw it out after they change it. That’s a shame because motor oil is infinitely recyclable.
We encouraged people to recycle their oil at NAPA so that instead of going into a neighbor’s yard, it can go into a neighbor’s engine.
The campaign was a no brainer and shows that if reading something gives you an emotional reaction, it’ll affect other people the same way—in this case an appalling statistic.
